STORY

Mondo Scooterama is the story of the once dominant scooter gang the Demons and their desperate bid to get back on top. The Demons' leader, with the help of a mad scientist, hatches a fiendish plan to rebuild the gangs declining numbers. When the member of a rival scooter club unwittingly falls for the girlfriend of the Demons leader, he finds himself ensnared in their plan. His friends launch a desperate attempt to rescue him from the mad scientist and stop the Demons from continuing their reign of terror.

Mondo Scooterama was shot entirely in Seattle, Washington. The dozens of Vespa and Lambretta scooters used in the movie were generously provided by members of the Vespa Club of Seattle, and other local scooter clubs. The local production crew included Inventive Pictures from Olympia and Sonic Mobility from Seattle. Kudos to the actors, only one of which had any previous riding experience, for their willingness to jump on and ride. Many of the extras in the movie are members of the local scooter and moped community. The soundtrack was generously provided by several very talented yet underappreciated local bands.
